The TMC2209 improves on its predecessor the incorporation of the StallGuard4, which allows us among other things to use it as a sensorless homing even in silent mode (better than 2130).
In addition these controllers have a very low internal resistance, which allows greater performance and higher powers without overheating, the heatsink is now less necessary.
This controller can be configured or UART or Step/Dir from firmware without physical changes.
